Captain Douglas Carroll, a proud native of Cordova, Alaska, has dedicated his life to the waters of Prince William Sound. With over 40 years of experience as a commercial fisher and boater, he has immersed himself in the region’s rich maritime culture and natural beauty. After a fulfilling teaching career, Captain Carroll has transitioned to retirement, but continues to work in the maritime industries fulfilling his passion for boating and for the Alaskan waters. He also has a 100 gross ton master's license and has continually honed his skills to meet the challenges that come with this lifestyle.
